Summer has definitely arrived... and so have the wasps. 🐝
If you've noticed more wasps around your home, garden or business recently, you're not imagining it. This is the time of year when colonies are at their busiest, and what starts as the odd wasp can quickly become an active nest.
One of the biggest signs to look out for is wasps repeatedly flying to and from the same spot, whether that's your roofline, loft, shed, garage or even an air brick.
Whatever you do, don't try to block the entrance or knock the nest down. This can make the colony defensive and increase the risk of being stung.
We've put together a new blog explaining:
✔️ Why wasps are so active in summer
✔️ How to spot the signs of a nest
✔️ Where wasps commonly build nests
✔️ What to do (and what not to do) if you find one
