Another busy week at one of our long standing, valued customers.
This time replacing this Baxi that Simon installed back in 2007. Having looked after it with regular services every year our customer, decided to upgrade it with a new Intergas boiler, complete with 12 year warranty and modulating controls to improve efficiency and comfort.

Also following on from our post earlier in the year about having the best customers, we can reiterate that with this job and customer, after they made both Simon and Alex handmade leather wallets.

A busy few weeks at Holland Gas, starting with this bathroom renovation we carried out.

The customer contacted us because they wanted to update and improve their old ensuite

A larger bath went in, a vanity unit replacing the old sink and a comfort height toilet to make their life easier.
New flooring and a new mirror to completely transform this ensuite.

Another busy week so far for Holland Gas.
We've started the week fitting an Intergas Heating UK Xtend Hybrid Heat Pump to this property.

The customer had already got an Intergas boiler and cylinder fitted as well as solar panels and battery storage and wanted to take the next step towards reducing their heating bill.

The 5kw hybrid heat pump runs upwards of 400% efficient and will do about 90% of the heating demands for the property, and on those few cold days in winter the boiler is able to add a little bit more heat to help the heat pump.

Positioned to the rear of the property, the refrigerant pipes have been run to the boiler in black trunking, blending in with the property.

This really is the way forward for the majority of people's heating demands.

A hot one to finish off a busy week for Holland Gas.

Replacing these oversized, and, not fit for purpose, cylinders for Stafford Rangers.

Despite only being installed less than 3 years ago, these cylinders, which weren't intended for domestic water, have split and pinholed causing them to leak.

We have resized the hot water demand, and with the current installation, we only required a 300L cylinder from Intergas. Made from the best stainless steel, it comes with a 25 year warranty. As well as the best insulation around the cylinder so it won't lose heat, making it super efficient.

A busy week at Holland Gas.

Alex has been busy in the classroom obtaining his F-gas qualification, which is very timely with the current weather so he is now able to fit air conditioning into your homes.

How's this for a Tuesday transformation.

A long standing customer of ours wanted to remove his bath and replace it with a shower as it was getting harder to climb into the bath.

Having removed the bath we replaced it with a full length, low profile shower tray to make his showering easier, featuring grab handles went entering/exiting the shower. And wall panels for an easy clean solution with minimal disruption.

What better way to spend a bank holiday than to be fitting Air Conditioning on the hottest day in May since 1944.

This customer decided to try and beat the heat wave and put the comfort of themselves and their 2 year old child first by investing in Air Conditioning.

They were on a budget but wanted to cool their bedrooms, so we installed a 3.5kw unit on the landing opposite their bedrooms. This has provided ample cooling to their rooms.

And after the 1st night of it working their child's bedroom has cooled from 30°c down to 19°c after just 4 hours.

We've recently been out to service this cellar cooler for Stafford Rangers Football club.

We were contacted initially due to the cellar cooler not cooling the room properly and they were thinking it needed replacing.

After a quick inspection we suggested a good service would solve the issue.

The insides of both the indoor unit and the outdoor unit were covered in dust and cobwebs blocking the airflow and reducing the effectiveness of the units.

The outdoor unit, which was on the roof of the club, had got damage from a football. I think they need to work on their shooting 😂
This again blocking the airways and reducing the effectiveness.

But after a deep clean the unit has now been able to cool the room to the target temperature ❄️
