⛳GOLF DAY UPDATE ⛳

Last week, we held our annual charity golf day at Woodham Golf Club, and we’re delighted to have raised an incredible amount of over £3,000.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible — to the players, volunteers, hole sponsors, and everyone who generously donated raffle and competition prizes.

A special thank you to Pat, for all her continuous hard work and dedication over the years.

A huge well done to Norton Bowling Club who have had a fantastic summer! 🏆👏

It’s been brilliant seeing so many wins and achievements over the past few weeks. There has been plenty to celebrate.

Congratulations to everyone who’s brought home some silverware — well deserved!

Well Done Teddy, a fantastic achievement!

⭐CONGRATULATIONS, TEDDY! ⭐

Everyone at Norton CC would like to say a huge well done to Teddy Minto, who represented the North at last week’s ECB Super4s at Loughborough University.

The ECB Super4s brings together some of the country’s emerging cricketers, selected into four regional sides to play 50-over and T20 cricket.

Teddy had an excellent week with the ball, taking 7 wickets and finishing 4th in the overall bowling rankings across the competition.

His performances included:

2/24 in the North’s five-wicket 50-over win over the Midlands

2/16 in the T20 match against the Midlands

Teddy was also joined at the competition by former Norton junior Luke Symington, who represented the South & West team. A brilliant achievement for both players and a proud moment for the club.

Everyone at Norton is hugely proud to see one of our juniors representing Durham and the North at this level, and making such a strong impact.

Keep up the great work, Teddy! 👏

The weather may have taken a slight turn and the 2026 cricket season is drawing to a close, but there’s good news for our Over 50s Social Cricket sessions!

We play indoors, so our sessions can continue throughout the colder months. 🏏

Thursdays | 12–1:30pm | Free of charge
