🎃 GROW YOUR OWN PUMPKINS! 🎃

Why pay a fortune at a pumpkin patch when you can grow your own?! 😂🌱

These little beauties are small and not quite ready yet, but we actually think the smaller ones are just as cute! 😍🎃 Perfect for a little autumn display by the front door.

There’s something so satisfying about watching them grow from tiny plants into your very own pumpkins. And let’s be honest… they’re even better when you can say “I grew that!” 😂

So, if you’ve got the space, why not give pumpkins a go next year? Save yourself the pumpkin patch prices and grow your own! 🎃

Anyone else growing pumpkins on their plot this year? 👀

🍂🌱 South Normanton Allotments are heading into autumn… 🌱🍂

And just like that, the seasons are changing! 🍁 The evenings are getting shorter, the mornings a little cooler and the plots are slowly starting to take on those beautiful autumn colours.

There’s still plenty happening around the site though! 🥕🥔🌽 From harvesting the last of the summer crops, collecting seeds and preparing beds, to getting those winter vegetables planted and making plans for next year.

Autumn is a quieter time on the allotment, but it’s definitely not a time to stop growing! 🌱

Here’s to cosy allotment mornings, muddy boots and looking forward to what 2027 will bring! 🍂👩‍🌾👨‍🌾
