Trainee Multi-Skilled Assistant needed this week, to join our team on project base. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in construction who wants to learn a wide range of practical skills under supervision, alongside experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience in real renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with day-to-day renovation tasks under supervision
-Learn and support work in carpentry, painting, tiling, and drywall
-Help with site preparation, including stripping out and cleaning
-Carry and organise tools and materials
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
-Follow instructions carefully and ask questions to develop skills
-Adhere to all health & safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
-Strong interest in construction and hands-on work
-Willingness to learn and take direction
-Good attitude, reliability, and punctuality
-Ability to work as part of a small team
-Basic practical skills or DIY experience
-Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
-Good communication skills
We happy to transfer skills and employ enthusiastic youth trainee who are willing to grow within our company as we grow. We are looking at building a second team soon to take on additional work for residential renovations. There is opportunity for the trainee to be promoted in future.
