Matt has built 3 wardrobes, a tall cupboard, wall to wall cupboards, chest of drawers, Lego table, outdoor kitchen and full boot room for us, in a part 1650 part 1850 house with inches difference in nearly all directions. The quality of the work and finish are unbelievably good. Matt is always on time, professional and my house looks cleaner when he leaves than when he started. Would really really recommend. Utility room storage cupboard completed today for some fabulous clients 😊.
All hand made, shaker doors on soft close hinges, wine fridge space, lots of shoe storage, shelving and hanging rail. 🪚🔨👌🏻

Completed the build and decoration on this media wall last week and today the lights have been installed and the client has added the gold trim to the face of the centre wall!! The black was always contentious for me 🫣 but I have to say it looks absolutely stunning!!

Running a small business is never easy. It’s a never ending cycle of contact, measuring, quoting, collecting materials, carrying out the work, arranging sub contractors, setting job schedules, project managing….. and that’s all before 9am!! 😜😉…..

But seriously, I have relocated my 16 year old ‘baby’ twice in 3 years and when you move to a different part of the country there is that nervousness and worry that it won’t take off and all the ground work and graft that has been laid down will go to waste……

However…. Today I have taken 3 bookings that now take me to November 11th… that’s a full 15 weeks in advance, not to mention the 3 jobs still to get quotes sent on!!!! 👊🏻👌🏻
I am beyond proud of how my business has been appreciated and accepted after moving to Lincolnshire and the looooong hours, knackered body and silver face rug are a small price to pay for living my dream of being my own boss.

Completed today is this 3 day build of an entrance hall cupboard, storage bench and coat hook area. All made from moisture resistant MDF and 27mm solid oak with traditional cornice to keep the character as it is in an old farm house.
Client is painting this a Regal Blue and oiling the oak surfaces, finished with pewter colour hooks and door k***s. 👌🏻😊🪚🔨

Completed today in Newark is this beautiful two tone Dark Walnut and antique white handleless kitchen from Howdens .
22mm white marble effect laminate tops with matching backboards and a timeless oak LVT floor with new skirting board. All fully decorated and ready for 2nd fix plumbing and electrics on Monday!! 👌🏻😊www.mattsimpsonhomeimprovements.co.uk

Lovely Oak and Glass stair case refurbishment completed today with the glass panels being installed.
White Oak hand and base rails with post caps replacing the old and outdated hand and knee rails.
All finished in polyurethane satin varnish and the posts redecorated in White satinwood. 👌🏻🪚🔨
