What happens to the waste from your building project?
♻️ BEHIND THE BUILD | WHERE DOES YOUR BUILDING WASTE GO?
When you're planning home improvements, it's easy to think about the finished room, new roof or extension.
But what happens to everything that comes out?
At Building Services S and J Limited, responsible waste management forms part of how we plan our projects.
Building work can generate plasterboard, timber, flooring, packaging, old fixtures and fittings and other construction waste. When our work generates waste, we have responsibilities for how that waste is handled, transported and transferred. Government guidance requires businesses handling waste to store it securely, use appropriately authorised carriers/facilities and maintain the required waste-transfer information.
That's why waste removal isn't simply “taking rubbish to the tip.”
Where S&J provides waste removal, the associated charge reflects the genuine cost of responsibly managing and disposing of project waste.
Professional building work doesn't finish when the installation is complete. Responsible clearance matters too.
