WHAT’S HAPPENING?!
Every now and then you have one of those moments where you stop and think, “How the f**k did I get here?” 😂
This was definitely one of them.
Just over 3 years ago, I started posting pictures and videos of my work on Instagram and Facebook. I was fed up with LinkedIn being full of critics and know it alls, so I thought I’d just show people what working in HV is actually like.
That quickly turned into sharing pretty much everything. The jobs, the tools, the early starts, the muddy joint pits and all the good, bad and ugly that comes with the job.
Fast forward to this week, and somehow I’ve just been flown out to Northern Ireland on a fully paid trip with Velocity Pro Gear.
A couple of days packed with activities, crazy surprises and, most importantly, spending time with some genuinely good people.
I honestly never imagined that posting a few pictures and videos of my work would lead to opportunities like this.
Velocity were one of the first brands to take a chance on me, and they’ve supported me ever since like I’m part of the family.
They’ve never told me what to post or what to say. I’ve just used the bags day in, day out, taken them everywhere with me and properly put them through their paces.
That’s what I love about working with them. I’ve always been able to be myself and say exactly what I think. There’s never been any pressure to say something just because they’re a brand I work with.
And every time a new bag turns up, it still feels like Christmas 😂!
There’s also loads that goes on behind the scenes that people never see from charity work to things like the recent launch of Zero Six Hundred Coffee. They’re always doing something different and finding ways to give something back.
So, a massive THANK YOU to everyone at Velocity for an unforgettable trip and for all the support over the years.
I’ve had an absolute blast, and I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunities and experiences this has brought my way.
I really do mean it when I say I’m living my dream❤️
