I’d just like to say a massive thank you for everyone’s support in 2026, thank you for supporting small businesses! Wishing everyone a Happy new year. 2025 has been an amazing year for the Lawnmower men as we continue to grow into the new year!

A little run down as to how the next year is shaping up.

Jan-Leafleting in Nantwich/Chester/Whitchurch

Feb-Garden clearances, leafleting, small hedges.

March-Start of garden design course. First cuts taking place weather permitting.

April-Scarifying, lawn care. Mowing continues.

May to October-Main bulk of the mowing season.

October-Final cuts, scarifying and lawn care.

November-Garden clearances, leafleting, hedge cutting.

December-Leafleting and first Garden designs going live.

SUMMER UPDATE/SCARIFYING BOOKINGS

It’s been a busy summer here at the Lawnmower Men, our favourite so far with all the dry weather making grass cutting nice and easy and not many days rearranged with wet weather. Below are some of our favourites from this season so far.

Once the rain does arrive it will be time to get your lawns scarified and given a new lease of life so get in touch for a quote and I can get you booked in for what will be a very busy period in late September.

If your lawn is feeling spongy, full of moss and not draining well now is the time to get your lawn booked in for March and April to be scarified.

We have had a very wet winter which is great news for moss but not good news for your garden. Give us a ring on 07930 511327 or drop us a message and I can come around and give you a free quote.

Below are some examples of lawns that I scarified in September and October and it just goes to show how much moss and thatch you can get out of a lawn which is preventing it from being green and healthy. By April with our spring feed treatment these lawns will be looking in great shape ready for the summer.

Now that the Christmas break is over I’d just like to wish everyone a very happy new year and thank you for all your support over 2024 it’s been an incredible year for the Lawnmower Men with lots more planned for 2025.

Not long til it’s time to get the mower back out again but in the meantime get in touch if you need hedges cut back, borders dug out or a winter garden tidy up.

I never thought I’d still be mowing into December but heres a few highlights from late Autumn 🍂

October time is the best month of the year in this job when we start getting the last cut on lawns before the winter months. It’s usually pretty hectic as no two lawns grow the same, they all require different attention but that’s all part of the fun.

Below are a few lawns getting there last cut before some of them are scarified and fed so they are ready to look splendid in spring. Fingers crossed for a dry end to the month 🤞
