has now been up and running for just over a month, and I wanted to start giving a little something back to the local communities that I’m hoping to serve for many years to come.
Yesterday was a fairly quiet Sunday. I only had a morning of customer work booked in, and once I’d finished, I didn’t really fancy heading home and doing nothing with the rest of the day.
So instead, I loaded up the equipment and headed over to Condover, Shrewsbury with a slightly different job in mind.
I spent some time cleaning a selection of dirty road signs around the village — completely free of charge.
Some had built up years of dirt, algae and general grime, leaving them looking tired and, in places, much harder to read. As you can see from the before and after photos, a proper clean made quite a difference.
There was no customer and no invoice at the end of this one. It was simply a chance to put my equipment and spare time to good use and do something positive for the local area.
And I’d like this to become a regular part of B Bailey Exterior Cleaning .
Once a month, I’m going to set some time aside to visit another area around Shropshire and clean some of its dirty road signs for free.
