What, Where, Wem😉?

A Commercial Servery electrical installation carried out and completed for a school in Shropshire, The final school project of 3 in Shropshire this summer carried out.

This particular job is the largest single project carried out by ourselves, obviously this type of work was an everyday reality as I was learning the trade, but doing it for yourself, as your own firm is different 😅🍻hopefully more to follow from this.

4 X Servery positions being provided with 50 Amp single phase supplies, running in 16mm SWA LSF, which may be overkill, however we always look ahead to the future expansion of installations and/or larger load requirements.

4 X Data points installed for till/epos positions from existing hall rack to RJ45 outlet sockets.

Assistance from an old mucka on the containment and cable pulls gave us a push early doors on first fix, utilising the scissor lift for awkward containment runs.

It is always of great help when the main contractor is organised and the shop fitter/joiners you're working alongside have detailed drawings aiding cable drops/positions and the like.

The boys at &light in bridgnorth delivering the goods again.

Sony.

A lighting project carried out for on another servery.

The location in hand is a rather large, world renowned entertainment/technology firm in Sony Interactive Entertainment UK.

9 X Natural white LED Tape lighting runs installed at different levels and positions throughout the front fascia of the catering servery.

Switching has been enabled from one position, utilising a kinetic switch and 5 receivers and drivers situated in the positions required, with isolators and power.

6 X New positions installed for commercial copper finish heat lamps, including isolation position.

All in a long days work, following a week's holiday 😅😎✌🏼.

Garden Room.. Gym.

An outdoor space with a relatively standard electrical installation carried out.

A little head scratching on this one... How do you hide the containment and cabling subtly?

Containment has been installed on the rear and one side elevation of the cabin, including external IP68 consumer unit.

24V natural white Led Cob tape ran in 4 X 4 metre lengths of aluminium profile for a sleek, modern lighting array, and a dash of external spotlighting for the patio area.

A couple of days dodging the weather..🫡

A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

Actually, it was just in Shifnal 😂.

A number of hand dryers have been installed for a local scout hut facility.

New 20 Amp single phase radial circuits installed for these appliances, and a double pole fused spur outlet applied for each individual unit.

Low smoke twin and earth cabling selected for this installation, due to the public domain and use of the building.

NHS Birmingham City Hospital,Treatment Centre.

Finally crossed the line on this commercial project with .

The process has been drawn out, however a valued learning experience.

The initial tender, process through the procurement stage with our clients to the final stages of installation has been a full 12/13 months of strategic planning, site visits, team meetings and compliance assessments.

Working in conjunction with large organisations, including PFI setups, I never thought for one minute I'd ever be working alongside.

A sub main of 63 amps three phase has been installed to feed a 6 way three phase distribution board. This DB will supply a 3 phase commercial oven, coffee machine and many other outlets, at a hospital food & drink servery at front of house.

The installation and testing was the easy part. 😎👍🏼

School For The Deaf..

A commercial job completed last month for a regular client of ours.

Existing Servery low level gantrys deleted, including the controls panel for each heated cupboard/chiller.

The control panels have been relocated to behind counters in existing MDF boards and rewired.

New matte black, heat lamp gantry positions installed and connections made.

Lounge Lighting..

10 downlights recently installed in a client's home. Avon Pro made us of on this.

An awkward shaped room, but we came up with the plan to compliment the space sufficiently.

During tender, we noticed the consumer unit was BS3036 (rewireable fuses) setup.

This has been deleted and a new fully fledged 18th edition amd3 consumer unit put into service.

Black.

There is something superior with the black finish on these external points, coupled with black containment and.. A black floodlight.

Horizontal containment and vertical containment has been sealed for the premise of water ingress, sustaining the IP rating of the product.

A tastefully presented home, room by room.

We had the pleasure of being provided the opportunity to install lighting and power positions on this property.

As electricians we don't have much to show for our efforts, until the final stages of a project.

Commercial Oven.

32amp Three Phase installation carried out @ Penn Hall School, Wolverhampton.

A task undertaken rather close to Christmas last year for a top client in .

A 4mm 5 core low smoke SWA ran externally and Internally to point of final connection to an Interlocked RCD 5 Pin Socket Outlet.

32amp triple pole MCB put into service at mains distribution panel, SWA Glanded/made off into 50x50 galvanized trunking and requisite connections made.

All set for delivery of a new Rational commercial Oven.
