**Staircase transformation**

Our lovely client in Selby wanted to modernise their existing staircase and bring more light into the hallway — so we removed the dated panelling and added new spindles to really open up the space.

The result? A brighter, lighter, and much more contemporary feel that completely changes the look of the entrance without the need for a full staircase replacement.

*Front Door Canopy Replacement Complete!*

We recently finished a project for a lovely regular customer — always a pleasure to be asked back. Their existing front door canopy had seen better days, so we carefully replicated the original design to keep the same character and style.

The new canopy was built off-site and finished with a durable GRP / fibreglass top for long-lasting protection against the elements. Once ready, we returned to install it and the customer added their own personal stamp by painting it themselves, and it looks great!

🔨 No More Squeaks! 🔇

This recent customer had been living with a VERY noisy, creaking staircase. It appeared that someone had previously tried to fix it with screws from above, which would never work properly, as the annoying noise always returned.

We took a different approach. We accessed the staircase from underneath on the lounge side and carried out a full repair - cutting, gluing and screwing new wedges into place to eliminate the movement causing the creaks.

Doing it properly, we sorted it once and for all. We also added some new power sockets as part of the job, and now it’s all ready for painting.

Another happy and appreciative customer — and one very quiet staircase! If you’ve got a problem that keeps needing to be “fixed” but never solved, feel free to get in touch.

🎄 That’s a wrap for Christmas! 🎄

As we finish up for the festive break, we’d like to say a HUGE thank you to all our customers for choosing us this year. From fitted kitchens and wardrobes to bespoke joinery and building services projects, it’s been a real pleasure working with so many lovely people.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved in the past 12 months and grateful for every recommendation, review, and bit of support — it really does mean a lot. 🙌

The kitchen features lovely solid worktops and a classic Belfast sink, which really finishes the space off perfectly. A great project to work on and we’re really pleased with the end result.

Thanks to an introduction from Howdens Sherburn in Elmet, we were invited to quote for this project — and what a difference it’s made!

Our lovely client inherited some old, poorly functioning sliding wardrobes when they bought their home, and were ready for a modern upgrade. We installed these stunning Howdens Halesworth Sage Green wardrobes, along with a bespoke dressing unit built perfectly into the window bay to make the most of the space.

A great job for a genuinely lovely couple — and we definitely got our steps in working up on the 3rd floor! 🧰🥵💪
