It's no wonder our precious gardens are easily swamped by brambles when completely left to Mother Nature🌿🍇

Brambles have been growing on in this year's drought. Demanding nothing, long, unforgiving stems arch across borders and through unsuspecting and otherwise attractive shrubs in determined fashion! Take a look at the fascinating image I captured in the comments...

How's your garden doing this autumn?🍂

As 2026 begins to fade (I can't believe it either), we might be considering changes for future growing seasons. Over the next few months, I anticipate spending more time on advising how to plant for weather extremes.

I thought collecting rainwater was complicated and expensive 😅 Turns out it's one of the simplest things I've ever set up — and it's saved me so much money on my water bill while making my plants noticeably happier. If you water a garden, this is worth doing. Save this! 💧
