I decided I didn't like this painting, so I'm going to reuse it for something else. I've given it a base coat of Brilliant Red. The original painting was quite lumpy, so might sand it down once it's dry.

That is, if I can find my sandpaper... 🤔

So the other day, when I was painting my little study of the castle, I was wiping the excess paint off onto another canvas. I've used this as a base for a small still life.

I think it's giving 1950s holiday vibes 🍋🇮🇹🛵
