We’ve been working on something a bit different behind the scenes at JLS. 👀
Over the last few years we’ve tried different bits of software to help manage our projects.
Some have been good, but we’ve never found one that does everything the way we want it to. Either they’re missing things we actually need on site, they’re overcomplicated, or the cost starts getting silly once you add the whole team.
So we decided to build our own.
It started as something purely for us to use at JLS.
A simple way to keep our projects, photos, drawings, documents, tasks, site diaries, variations and client updates all in one place.
Since then, it’s grown into something much bigger.
We’ve added progress tracking, client sign offs, Part L evidence, reporting and even AI that can search through project documents and answer questions about the job.
We’re now using it on our own projects and getting to the point where we’re ready to start letting other construction companies use it too.
It’s called SiteStack.
Still plenty more to come, but we’re looking forward to seeing where we can take it.
