Second job was getting rid of 2 jasmine plants. This is a new customer to me but they want regular maintenance on their garden. But the first job and priority was cutting down this Jasmine.

The one pictured on the floor was actually going through into their roof when I first visited but their son took it down just before I got there.

The second I started cutting it back (look at the floor) and then realised I had taken pictures!

There was far more waste than I could of imagined from 2 climbers!

I'll go back and try to dig both of the stumps out at a later date. I just didn't purely because by that point I had filled the brown bin (big one) and a tonne bag!

2 jobs yesterday. First job was a leaf blow and 2nd was getting rid of a climber. One of my customers is moving so they just needed a tidy up of their garden. I was happy to oblige

So today was a hedge job! I was asked by a resident to tidy up their street due to their hedges on their road getting a bit too big. It seems that the residents signed a contract for a company to tidy up the hedges once or twice a year, but now it's been years no resident wants to pay for the contract and many of the residents have changed so are unaware of the contract...sometimes the residents who have loved & lived on their street for years are the ones who actually want to maintain the area. Regardless that's where I stepped in and gave a helping hand!

So this morning was some general bits & pieces that needed doing.

I was messaged by a customer as their shower was leaking due to a big split in their shower hose & their ducting from their bathroom extractor fan had been cut due to an issue in their loft.

So I grabbed a new shower hose and also a jubilee clip. But I misunderstood that the extractor fan ducting had physically been cut in the middle. I thought it was disconnected from the fan!!

As I was climbing the loft ladder I noticed the handle was very lose. I tried to tighten it up but the thread had stripped so I got a larger screw and also a washer & redone the hole. Nice and secure!

When I got up into the loft I realised the ducting had been physically cut and so a jubilee clip wouldn't of worked! I thought maybe I could get to the vent and connect up with a jubilee clip but I couldn't get to it, it was tight area. So I turned to some good old fashioned gaffa tape! Popped the ducting inside itself & wrapped the tape right around it!

Next was a small & simple planter. Just made from pallet wood but that area of the garden just dies so best way of dealing with what is usually a mud pit!

Only a small job this morning. Put up 3 shelves so a young gentleman can display his models in his bedroom. My after pic was terrible, but the young gentleman took a much better photo after I was gone & sent it over

A customer needed a cot built & luckily I had availability the next morning.

I forgot to take a picture of it completely disassembled but just started it! The customer was lovely offering me teas & coffees & having space to actually work to build it! All completed & to the customers satisfaction 😀
