Celtics 9-1 Win 💚
After last week’s result, we needed a response from the boys today — and they certainly didn’t let us down! With a full squad available, everyone was up for it from the start and ready to put in a shift for each other.
The first half started very slowly, with both teams struggling to get a real run of the ball. But as soon as Adam opened the scoring from a lovely assist by Isaac, the boys never looked back.
From then on, we started to control the game, with Ted adding another two goals to take us into half time 3-0 up. The opposition keeper also made some very good saves from Kayon and Wayne to keep the score down.
Half-time team talk was simple — everyone relaxed, keep doing what we’re doing and keep playing our football.
The second half was a different story. We really went for it, putting together some fantastic team moves and working some great goals. Bobby, Lincoln and Oliver all played some brilliant through balls for Ted, who went on to score another two goals.
Wayne also got himself on the scoresheet twice after getting onto some great balls, while Isaac added another two goals himself. One was a cheeky left-footed finish into the bottom corner after leaving the defenders spinning on the spot! 😂⚽️
The score could have been even more, with Ethan hitting the crossbar, Adam hitting the post, and the opposition keeper making several very good saves.
Final score: 9-1 👏👏
A fantastic response from the boys and, more importantly, a great team performance from back to front. Everyone played their part and worked for each other. 💚🍀
🏆 Tru Uniforms MOTM - Isaac
A brilliant performance from Isaac today. Two very good goals, a constant threat and a real pain for the opposition throughout the game. He did get frustrated with a few decisions along the way, but he kept battling and stayed focused on helping the team.
Well done, mate — fully deserved! 👏⚽️🍀
A massive thank you to all the supporters who made the long trip away today. You never let us down and the boys really appreciate the support! 💚
See you all Thursday — let’s get even better! ⚽️🍀
