NOT EVERY JOB GOES TO PLAN โ AND THATโS OK.
This bathroom looks great now, and weโre proud of the nearly finished result a few small jobs to get completed
But thereโs a story behind it that I debated whether to share.
While I was away on holiday, the original shower room installation was carried out. When I returned to work the following week and saw the finished job, I knew straight away that it simply wasnโt up to the standard I expect from Arrow Plumbing.
At that point, thousands of pounds had already been spent getting the bathroom to what should have been the finished stage.
I had two choices.
Accept it, hope the customer was happy and move onโฆ
Or take responsibility for the work carrying our name and put it right.
For me, there was only one choice.
We ripped the bathroom back out, took it right back to the bare walls and started again โ at considerable cost to myself and the business.
Was it painful? Absolutely.
But my reputation, our customers and the standard of work we put our name to are worth far more than the cost of putting one job right.
Iโve spent years building a reputation within our local community and further afield, and that reputation has been built on quality workmanship, honesty and taking pride in what we do.
Running a business isnโt about pretending everything always goes perfectly. Sometimes things go wrong.
Integrity is what you do when they do.
Today I can look at this bathroom and be proud to put the Arrow Plumbing name to it โ and ultimately, thatโs what matters.
We donโt claim to be perfect.
But we will always stand behind our work, take responsibility and make sure the finished job meets the standards our customers expect from us.
Our name goes on the job, so our standards go with it.
