Part of the St Peters way project, in Porthleven, included the construction of an ensuite in an extended bedroom at the rear of the property.
The ensuite was then finished with a black quadrant shower, hand basin and toilet.

The improved access from the front door and the slab are now complete, awaiting the tiles to be laid.

Door upgrade time at our project - St Peters Way in Porthleven.

The property had white 4 panel doors and the client selected Howden Daytona oak doors complimented with black furniture.

The architraves have also been replaced by 70mm square edge and along with 120mm Burford skirting.

Martian fitted new door casings, doors, architraves and skirting aided by the client.

Over the last few weeks we have been on this internal kitchen renovation in Redruth.

Initially the brief was to remove the internal wall and prepare the external walls for new plaster before kitchen fitting. However, as with most Victorian properties, things escalated.

We have dug out and re-laid the floor with proper insulation and DPM, studded external and party walls to create easy fixings for wall units, removed and levelled both ceilings ready for new plasterboard and skim and prepared the external walls for new cement render.

Externally we have addressed serious drainage and grey water issues.

More from our project at St Peters Way, Porthleven :

As part of the build the old small porch with flat roof was removed and replaced with a larger build with pitched and tiled roof including a velux for added light.

This room now provides a utility and store room.

To close off the store room, a pair of bi-fold sliding doors were created to minimise the impact when opened.

An update from our St Peters Way project in Porthleven :

When we extended the rear of the property, we used a block and beam floor system to minimise the infill required, due to the various site levels. This created a useful storage cellar below, where the client could store garden furniture during the winter months.

To finish the cellar off, a pair of barn doors were constructed.

An update from our Reeves Close project in Porthleven :

Following on from the full internal refurbishment we performed earlier in the year, the Client has contacted us to create a patio area.

So the Team (Trev, Ethan, Dot) are back to the property to commence the works.

The patio with be approximately 6m x 5m laid with porcelain tiles, the entrance to the property will be widened and also tiled to compliment the patio. The patio will be completed with the construction of a pergola - the new patio will provide a great place to entertain or just sit, relax and enjoy the views of Porthleven.

Further updates will be posted as the works progress.

A further update on our St Peters Way project in Porthleven:

Prior to the ground works outside, Martin (aka Martian) has been laying engineered oak flooring, again aided by the Client.

There is around 110 sqm to lay and we are approximately 60% complete. At the same time new skirting is being fitted.
The next stage will be door fitting along with architraves.

If you have any flooring requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will be pleased to assist.
