You never quite know what you're going to find in someone's loft! 🚂

I recently did some work in Ferring and came across this incredible model railway setup.

The amount of time, patience and attention to detail that must have gone into building this is impressive. I would have zero chance, I don't have the patience and I would end up throwing it down the loft hatch!

You can tell that my client really spent some hours up in that loft building this work of art. Let's just hope he wasn't up there building it during the summer heat!

It’s finally happened. I’m turning into my dad. 😂

I realised it recently when I found myself getting genuinely annoyed at how the dishwasher had been loaded.

There’s wasted space everywhere. Bowls are facing the wrong way. Things have been put where other things clearly belong.

And don’t even get me started on using the wrong setting and then wondering why nothing has washed properly.

Apparently this is who I am now.

It’s been a busy week at Tide, which unfortunately means we’ve been a bit useless at taking photos.

So, rather than showing you another picture of the inside of the van, here are a few from earlier in the year instead…

We’ve got Alex repairing a veterinary dental machine, Joe working behind a pub bar (not drinking for once), and a slightly confused customer being shown our new drone.

It’s actually quite a good summary of how varied our weeks can be. One day we’re working in someone’s home, the next we’re in a local business trying to get a piece of equipment back up and running.

Whatever the job, we approach it in the same way: turn up when we say we will, keep you informed and take pride in doing the job properly. That’s what we’re building Tide around.

The joys of working outside in West Sussex… 🌧️😂

A couple of old, non-working outside lights swapped for new floodlights this week.

Halfway through, the heavens opened and I got absolutely soaked. So I went back to the van, grabbed my waterproof jacket, put it on…

And naturally, it immediately stopped raining.

At least the new lights behaved better than the weather.
