Some good progress on our Chigwell job brick and block work going up fast .. steel delivery Thursday let’s hope the guys are ready .. we do have rain on the way but don’t worry there still some ground works they can get in with .. it all needs doing

It’s not every day a site visit comes with bacon rolls and coffee! ☕🥓

Great to welcome Danny Holder from Travis Perkins to our Hutton Mount project today.

I’ve personally known Danny for around 14 years, so although he was here in his professional role to catch up on the project, discuss materials and keep the relationship moving forward, it was just as much a chance to catch up with an old friend.

We realised it’s been around five years since we last saw each other, so there was plenty to catch up on!

A great example of what we value at Woodtecq — good people, strong relationships and suppliers who go the extra mile. Danny even turned up with the coffee and bacon rolls, so he’s definitely earned his breakfast! 😂

Thanks for popping in Danny — great to see you again and hopefully it won’t be another five years! 👊

🏗️ Hutton Mount – Construction Progress

Another great step forward on our Hutton Mount project, with the new extension now progressing up to DPC level.

The floor beams are now going in, with the next major stage already lined up. Our structural steels are arriving tomorrow, ready for installation later this week as the build continues to take shape.

From foundations and drainage through to the structural work, every stage is carefully coordinated to ensure the build is completed to the standards our clients expect.

Another week, another milestone — and the transformation is starting to become clear.

🏗️ Chigwell Extension Project — Foundations Underway

Aerial progress from our new Chigwell project, just a few days into the build.

We’ve now moved into the groundworks phase, excavating for the pad foundations and strip footings, with the existing main sewer routes carefully exposed and worked around.

This project will see the construction of both a rear single-storey and double-storey extension, creating a significant transformation to the rear of the property.

At this stage, it’s all about getting the foundations right. Careful excavation, accurate levels and attention to existing services provide the groundwork for everything that follows.

From foundations to final finishes, every stage is planned and delivered with the same focus on quality workmanship, structural integrity and attention to detail.
