A little look around one of our completed home renovation projects in Essex 👀

The aim here was simply to make the house feel lighter, more open and better connected to the garden.

The larger glazing completely changed the feel of the space, while the exposed brick, black frames and simple finishes kept plenty of character.

It’s a good example of how an extension doesn’t have to overcomplicate things to make a big difference to everyday life.

This project gave the family the open-plan space they wanted inside, while still leaving plenty of room at the back for a really usable patio area.

A simple change, but one that made the whole ground floor work much better for everyday family life.

The shell is up… now comes the part where all the little decisions suddenly matter 👀

Once the walls, roof and main structure are in place, the fit-out stage is where a house really starts to feel like a home.

Door handles, sockets, switches, flooring, lighting, kitchen finishes, taps… all the things you’ll see and use every single day.

They might feel like small choices on their own, but together they make a huge difference to how the finished space looks and feels.
