Surrey's first microbrewery is still pouring, over forty years on.

Pilgrim Brewery started in Woldingham in 1982, moved to Reigate two years later, and has been part of the town's fabric ever since — from the Reigate and Redhill Ale Trail to sponsoring the Summer Festival and backing local causes through the years. Businesses like this aren't built overnight, and they don't stay standing by accident.

It's the kind of local staying power we like to spotlight — the same reason Glow Networks was built around Reigate, not around scale.

Reigate isn't short of solar. It's short of systems designed properly.

Glow Networks Reigate (RH2) is now open — coordinating local delivery of individually designed home energy systems across the postcode.

Every home starts the same way: a survey, a bespoke design, and a fixed quotation, with no obligation to proceed. Where neighbouring homes install together, the efficiencies of coordinated delivery are shared back with the household — not offered as a deal, just how proper local planning works.

Once installed, Glow Care means ongoing support isn't an afterthought.

Coordinated delivery also means shared value. A portion of what Glow Networks Reigate generates goes into the Glow Energy Impact Fund, supporting local partners including Dylan Strong, Stripey Stork, Renewed Hope, PSDS and the Reigate Community Fund.

Registration for RH2 is open until mid-September, with installations from October.
