Good afternoon all 👋

Here's something a little different for you.

I've just hand crafted this slanted dog bowl stand for my Spaniel... Mainly to keep her ears out of the water and food bowls when she's using them to stop the matting of the hair!

I've built this from 18mm Latvian birch plywood and finished with a water resistant Osmo Oil. It is a very solid construction and water resistant.

Im going to put it out there and see if anyone would be interested in purchasing one?

If I gather enough interest then I will begin making a batch in a couple of weeks time.

For the work and time involved in making this one, I would price it at £50 per stand.
Again, if there's enough interest then I would be able to reduce this cost slightly.

Good afternoon all 👋

Here's a few pictures I've put together to showcase some of the recent VW interior work I've taken on...

Im looking to get some more booked in to the workshop over these coming winter months, with another coming in in September 👌

Good morning folks 👋

Here are an array of pictures of some of the work I've taken out this past week.

It was back to a previous job from last month to firstly finish off the bespoke built in wardrobe unit.

What do you reckon to the door handles? Made from the same material we used in the campervan conversion for the worktops! Neat.

It was then onto creating this bespoke fit window seat. I began by building a simple box unit from birch ply for storage and then the seat base I used some left over engineered wood flooring the had spare from their flooring install and some smaller parque block flooring to create the back rest all while leaving the stone work of this beautiful cottage in show either side of the seat. The base was finished with some oak skirting boards.

Afternoon all 👋

Here's another little side mission ontop of the pantry build...

A big roosting house for the chickens 🐔

Made up of 6x6 posts in the ground, a huge pallet box finished of with some spare cladding lying around and a few rails for them chickens to roost on.

Amazing what you can do with some spare bits laying around!

Good morning folks 👋

Over the past couple of weeks I've created and built this small timber frame extension which is to be used as a pantry! Pretty cool eh.

Externally the building has been wrapped with waterproof membrane to walls and roof and then finished with some green coated corrugated iron which looks tidy 👌

Internally , the walls have been insulated with 100mm insulation and then boarded with OSB.

I've then cut through from the inside into the pantry and lined this new doorway and then installed a sliding door rail and fitted a lovely looking cottage style door to this rail which sets it off perfect. The door way and door are going to be stained in a dark oak colour.

Metal racking is to be installed inside the pantry along with lighting and some electrical sockets in there too.

Good afternoon folks 👋

Today I've done a bit more for SW Event Water in building this shower base in preparation for Boardmasters next week, to be used down fistral beach for the competition surfers once they get out the surf 🏄

The shower base is removable from the main framework to allow ease for transportation.

As you can see, Maggie has been hard at work 👌 🐶

Good morning folks 👋

Here's something a little different I took on this week...

The replacement of some polycarbonate sheets on this conservatory. They were old, cracked and gave a real dark light internally as well as not keeping the rain out so well.

Now I've fitted some nice new clear sheets the whole internal lighting feels incredible, bringing much more light into the home also!

Yesterday I gave it a good water test and all was nice and water tight, happy days.

Have been a little quiet on here recently with doing some different work.

This week I've gotten stuck back into the carpentry and began on this bespoke in built wardrobe...

This is Phase 1 and phase 2 will continue in August to finish off the top boxes in the alcove and scribing in some finishing trim around the units to finish off against the ceilings and walls.

All I have built in house at my workshop from 18mm birch ply all cut by hand, manufactured and delivered to site 👌
