Hey! So, I’ve decided Calve & Co Decorating needs its own little space on Instagram… 🙌🏻

I’ve been talking myself out of creating a separate account for ages, but after realising so many of you who follow my personal account are here for the decorating, home inspo and transformations, it just made sense to give Calve & Co a little home of its own. 🤍

Bedroom work 💙

This one definitely didn’t go completely to plan… and that’s okay! 😂

The original plan was Cashmere Blush on the main walls with a medium blue feature wall. Once the Cashmere Blush was up, though, it had a definite pink tone that just wasn’t quite right for the room.

So… back to the drawing board!

The customer decided on Blue Magpie for the three walls and all the woodwork, with Tuxedo Blue for the feature wall 💙🩵 Valspar

Sometimes what looks like the perfect colour in the shop just doesn’t work in your home… and sometimes you need a Plan B! 💙

Back from holiday and officially all camped out, beached out and eaten WAY too much food 😂

But one thing I definitely couldn’t get enough of was all the beautiful, colourful houses in Tenby. 😍 The colours, the little streets and all the character… I was in my absolute element!

A much-needed week of sunshine, family time and making memories, but now it’s back to reality and back to the paintbrushes!

Feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to get stuck back in. 👌🏻

✨ AVAILABILITY UPDATE ✨

My next full availability for painting & decorating is now from 1st October 🗓️

I may have a few odd days pop up between my bigger jobs, so if you have a smaller job you’d like me to squeeze in, feel free to message me and I’ll see what I can do!

I’m also away from Monday 10th–17th August 🌞 I’ll get back to all messages and enquiries when I’m home.

Another room completed for a friend 💚💙

Bedroom transformation for two lovely little boys.
After repairing paint mapping, filling imperfections and sealing the walls with UK Gardz, I finished the room in Dulux Natural Hessian, with two feature arches in B&Q GoodHome Limerick and Dulux Denim Drift to sit behind each of the boys beds.

My friend sent me an inspiration photo, and love how it came together. I can’t wait to see the room once the furniture and accessories are in place! ✨

Love the sealing the tape with wall paint hack! Stopped the blue and green from bleeding through and giving clean sharp edges 🙌🏻

The brief? Chanel vibes… and I think we achieved exactly that 🤍

This project took plenty of prep, especially on the plasterboard walls, but it was all worth it.
The walls were painted in Dulux White Mist, the woodwork finished in Dulux Black Eggshell, and this stunning wallpaper from I Love Wallpaper ties the whole look together perfectly.

I absolutely love how elegant and luxurious this space feels. 🤍
