From the clients vision - all the way to finish line….

This project has been picked as a finalist in the Prestigious Northern Design Awards, so wish us luck and show the post some love 🙏

“The Winstanley Wellness Project”

The brief? Transform an unused area of the garden into a space where the family and their friends could swim, relax and unwind.

From excavation, groundworks and pipework through to the final finishing touches, every detail was carefully considered.

The pool: A bespoke Flexline one-piece pool, complete with a hidden automatic slatted cover, colour-changing LED lighting, modern fittings and an elegant step design.

The plant room: State-of-the-art equipment designed for reliable, efficient pool operation.

Energy efficiency: An air source heat pump from Automated Environmental to keep the pool at a comfortable swimming temperature while helping reduce running costs.

The sauna: A stunning NN sauna featuring full-spectrum infrared panels, a separate shower and a mirrored glass exterior for added privacy. Not forgetting the exterior lighting that enables you to change the colour to suit the ambience.

The result? A beautifully designed wellness space that brings swimming, relaxation and luxury together at home. And a very happy client.

Our Walsh Wellness Project is a finalist in the 2026!

We’re incredibly proud to share this project and give you a closer look at the work that went into transforming an existing swimming pool into a contemporary, family-focused wellness space.

From the planning and project management to the craftsmanship of our engineers, every detail was carefully considered. The refurbishment included removing all original tiles, re-rendering the pool structure, re-tiling with beautiful large format tiles, adding a modern water feature, updated changing room and shower facilities, and adding a family-sized Tylö sauna, delivered flat-packed and built by our team on site. We also assessed the existing plant room equipment, confirming it could continue to operate without the need for an upgrade at this time.

We’re delighted to see the project recognised alongside some outstanding designs, including major multi million pound commercial developments. Whatever the outcome on awards night, being named a finalist is an achievement we’re incredibly grateful for.
