Sometimes the bath has just got to go

After attending the on site visit, this lovely couple explained that they wanted a new layout and that the bath was now surplus to requirements. Now this can sometimes work against the homeowner as removing the only bath in the house can mark down following any future sale of the house. It was clear that this wasn’t going to be an issue though as they had already made other adequate changes around the house and viewed this as the ‘forever’ home.

All in all really happy with the turn around and new layout of the new bathroom.

Bathroom we completed for Raise the roof loft conversions a couple of months ago, height can always be a factor in these ones as the spec of the loft conversion sometimes can only allow for so much. We feel we used all the space accordingly and matched the clients needs. Go check Dans work out and what he can do as he has loads of past and current builds that show the transformation not only on this one but all of his other jobs

Been super quiet on here over the last 3 months. Personally ive had a lot going on in the background. Moved house, then pretty much did a full house renovation all whilst had been heavily pregnant. Add to it the day to days of running a business and youve got a guarenteed headache 🤣

Many ups and downs whilst everything was ongoing but massive shout outs to everyone who did there bit (you dont need personal verification but if you feel this can be aimed at you then it is, Me and Beth are massively greatful). Another shout goes to the fellas .jacob_044 .__
It aint always been easy with everything going on and theyve been knocking the work out as usual to make sure we hit the deadlines and that jobs have been completed as promised. Its in these moments when everyone steps in you realise that the fundamentals to all of this is having a solid team around to get through it all. Whether that be the work station or family

So many jobs that weve completed over this duration that im looking forward to posting and showcasing what weve been on with. Will be back posting in a few days/weeks to back log all of that ✌🏻

THE POWER OF THE SOCIALS

Turns out not everyone on here works for screwfix. Asked the other day on the stories if anyone had a spare worcester junior to set up at the unit so I could do a few breakdown lessons with the lads and I got loads of responses offering. So thanks to everyone that did. Shout out to though for putting one aside which I went and collected today. Good to meet someone on here and interesting to hear his journey in the trade and just all round being a top lad (this is what the internet is all about) ✌🏻

Thats your bread and butter right there

Conversion from last week to kick the year off, we had to run a new gas main in and took the external route as the house was recently renovated from last year. Tested the pipework from the conversion via the air tester upto to 2 bar just to see if any of the old fittings had issue with being pressurised (they didnt) and fired it all up. As always with any new install and especially a converison the system was flushed (in this case magna flushed) with x800 left in over night. Re filled and balanced the system. Hand over completed and boiler modulated right down to try and work to its maximum efficiency yadayadayada 🥱
