When this is "work"… 🥹💚
I still have to pinch myself sometimes. I am so incredibly lucky to do a job I absolutely love, in a place that feels like pure magic. This is hands down my favourite garden. There is always so much to see, so much to do, and the wonderful lady who created it is just as bonkers as I am—which definitely helps! 😜
This space belongs to the wildlife as much as it does to the humans. As you can see, choosing wildlife-first doesn’t mean a garden has to look messy or unkempt. It’s what I like to call organised chaos! 🌿

📍 Our Wildlife Philosophy:
🐾 Mindful Maintenance: We always work carefully to never disturb our resident critters . We hand pick plants to attract and feed the insects that we want, too.
🍂 Autumn Groundcover: We leave autumn leaves on the soil to feed the ground and give bees a safe place to bury themselves. We "chop and drop" Certain plants so it feeds the soil and we get little seedlings from all the seeds.
❄️ Winter Shelters: We have a completely "wild" section where plants just do their thing. Come winter, we don't cut anything back so insects have a safe place to hibernate.
Carole, you are an amazing human and I am so glad you found me. I could easily spend every single day here and never get bored.
