🏡 Giving a 600-year-old farmhouse in Newport some love! ✨
Ross and Rob spent yesterday fitting a fresh new window and replacing a rotten oak lintel above an exterior door like-for-like.

The old oak was rotten and crumbling, but they got the new one looking solid! .... Ross sent me a photo of the finished job, and being someone who loves everything to be perfectly symmetrical, I couldn't help myself. 🫣📐

Look at the last pic! I noticed one side was visibly bigger than the other, so I drew some circles on it and sent it straight back to him. Of course, he already knew—that’s just the character of such an old building—it certainly triggered his inner carpenter perfectionist 😂!

I’m starting to think tape measures weren't a thing 600 years ago... no straight lines anywhere! 😂

Quirky historic charm at its finest, but the guys did a cracking job! 🙌

How has it been two months since this post . . . .

And just like that, summer Holidays are over and the kids are back to school and college! 🚌 It’s been an busy two months. . . . . . . .

Ross is back in the groove, and we’ve achieved so much thanks to our brilliant summer helpers.

After 3 tough months out with an injury, Ross is officially back on site this week! A massive thank you to our brilliant clients for your incredible patience while he was recovering.

More than midway through framing this structural attic room for a brand new house build! 🪵🏗️

It’s been an absolute pleasure to take part in building this dream home. Complex layouts take a lot of math, but the team crushed it. Plus, you can't beat those scaffolding views! ☁️🏔️
