Our latest project involves creating a fully isolated room for 3D printing machines while maximising the client's existing space by utilizing a mezzanine level to provide additional office and storage space.

🚧 Straight into another project today! 🛠️

This family is transforming their garage into a brand-new living space for their teenage son – somewhere he can relax, hang out with his mates, and enjoy his own little man cave. 👌

🔨 **Phase 1: The Roof**

We're giving the roof the attention it needs before the internal work begins:
✅ Carefully removed all existing roof tiles
✅ Stripped the battens
✅ De-nailed the roof

Next up:
🏠 Replace and correctly brace the damaged A-frames
🪵 Install new felt and battens
🧱 Reinstate the original roof tiles (we love the character they add!)
💧 Fit a new drip edge and dry ridge system to fully weatherproof the roof

Once that's complete, the indoor refurbishment can begin!

🚧 A fantastic head start last week at the Amazon unit in Southampton! 💪

Working alongside the main contractor, we've made excellent progress by completing two large bays featuring:

✔️ MF ceilings
✔️ RWA45 insulation
✔️ Two layers of H Glassrock

One of the biggest time savers on this project has been our custom-built Top Hat installation jig. Designed in-house, it allows one operative to install five Top Hats at once with perfect 400mm centres every time—no tape measures, no movement, just fast, accurate installation.
🔹 Around 180m² of Top Hats installed and fully screwed off in just 4 hours by one operative.

The results speak for themselves... 🚀

🔨 A great start to a new project in Chippenham today! Followed soon by a full firecheck internal refurb! Firesafety is key when working along side builders. Unfortanutely this wasnt the case back when this block was built.

We've been asked to Re-clad several areas that were previously opened up for fire protection works.

*(The over-battening and Tyvek membrane were completed by the builder.)

Using our track saw, circular saw, jigsaw, and nail gun, we carefully set out and patched in the cladding to seamlessly match the existing façade.

We've got another two days on site as we continue working our way around the building.

Last week down in verwood,

One of the lads installing window boards, skirting boards, door linings, architraves and window.. all in one day. We dont mess around.

This office extension is really taking shape now, we are ready to complete the break through tomorow and join the original office into the new area! Stay tuned to see how we can make a small warehouse area into another fully functional multi use office and storage space.

Another major project underway!

Starting today in Sherborne, we're kicking off a substantial build involving full double Fireline ceilings and steel encasements throughout the property.

To achieve the required 120-minute fire rating, we're installing MF5 (Tophat) systems to the underside of the timber joists at 400mm centres, followed by 2 layers of 15mm Fireline board. All structural steels will also be fully encased with 2 x 15mm Fireline boards to meet specification.

Once the fire protection package is complete, we'll be installing a full suspended tile & grid ceiling system, including the higher-level sloped areas, creating a clean, modern finish throughout.

This is going to be a fantastic transformation and we're looking forward to sharing progress as the project develops. 👌
