The finished result of Subway’s first new concept store in the UK.

A few months ago, the APP Electrical team completed the electrical installation for this store, which is being used to trial a new design ahead of a potential nationwide rollout.

As part of the refurbishment, we installed LED lighting around both islands, the main counter and the larder area, helping bring the new design together.

Great to see the finished result and to have been involved in something a little different.

We’re also in discussions about further Subway projects across the UK.

A look back at one of our recent Subway projects.

This wasn’t your standard Subway refurbishment. It’s the first store in the UK to trial their new concept design, with the potential for it to be rolled out across other stores nationwide.

APP Electrical were responsible for the electrical installation as part of the refurbishment, working to get everything ready for the new store design.

Great to be involved in a project like this, and we’re already in discussions about further stores across the UK.

Have you checked your smoke alarms recently?

Helping to detect smoke in a fire’s early stages to give you time to evacuate a home or business property, checking your smoke alarms are working could save lives.

✔️ Press the test button on each smoke alarm in your property at least once a week
✔️ Replace the batteries regularly – we recommend once a year
✔️ You should have 1 alarm on each storey of your property
✔️ Replace smoke alarms when necessary

It’s recommended that smoke alarms are replaced every 10 years, even if the test button is functioning, to make sure they’re up-to-date & reliable.
