NEWBIES AND SOME NOT SO NEWBIES!

It’s been another busy week here in the TUCC Shop with our talented Artisans filling our showroom up again with lots of new creations looking for a new home.
We don’t think we have ever had a week when we’ve had so many new items in.
We have attached images of just some of our newbies as well as some other wonders still looking for a new home and that we can’t believe haven’t sold yet.

WE LOVE A GOOD STORY!

Having taken great pleasure over the last 6 years in upcycling and then selling thousands of pieces of furniture that were otherwise destined for landfill, we enjoy it even more when there is a nice story involved.
Richard got in touch with us regarding an old writing bureau that had been his Great Aunts and although it had been in the family for close to a hundred years, sadly, he just didn’t have the space in his home for it anymore.
Rather than see it ending up in landfill, Richard was very keen to see this family piece get another new home so he got in touch with us and was delighted to learn that we would love to take it.
A couple of days after Richard had dropped the bureau off, one of our Artisans, Nadine, was dropping off a couple of her newly upcycled pieces and we gave her the bureau to take away for a makeover.
Nadine worked her magic on the bureau, she had decided to give it a tasteful makeover restoring and reviving the old wood and framing and detailing the outside in midnight blue Fusion Mineral Paint. When it came to transforming the inside of the bureau, as well as painting, Nadine went for a striking blue background and floral design.

Just as we were about to put the bureau into our showroom we sent Richard images of his family bureau’s transformation and as well as sharing his delight with the makeover, Richard shared the images with his family.
When Richard’s daughter, Catriona had a look at the transformation she absolutely loved it and quickly decided to purchase the bureau so it could take pride of place in her new flat in Glasgow.
We love a story like this and are delighted that this multi generational family piece, nearly a century old, will remain in the same family and hopefully for generations to come.

ANOTHER BUSY WEEK!

We’ve had another busy week here in the TUCC Shop with lots of visitors, a healthy amount of sales of furniture and paint as well as the final filming of 3 new episodes of “Money For Nothing” that you will see on BBC1 when the next series is released.
It’s always great having Sarah Moore and the film crew here and our pup, Tucc was happy to see them all again.
We’ve lots of new wonderfully unique items in our showroom for visitors to see and hope some of you get the chance to pop in this weekend or sometime soon.

IT’S TUCC’S BIRTHDAY!

Our shop puppy is 2 years old and although she will always be our shop puppy, strictly speaking, we suppose that sadly, she will not be classed as a puppy anymore now.
More popular than the rest of team, she is always desperate to meet customers when they visit and is lucky that she is so cute and doesn’t scare visitors away as she often barks until they say hello.
So folks we are sorry for all the puppy images, in front of, or on furniture today, but every item of furniture you see in the images today are available for sale, Tucc isn’t.

AN EMPIRE OF OTTOMANS AND SOME OTHER CRACKERS!

It’s been another busy week helped by new customers visiting for the first time after seeing Sarah on BBC1 this week and last.
As well as Sarah being busy our Artisans have been busy also in filling our showroom before the weekend.
Michelle (our Ottoman specialist) has a few beautiful new items for you to see and Freda has been busy giving a huge sideboard a lovely makeover.
In short, we’ve lots of amazing items of furniture to see if you pop in this weekend or sometime soon.

FANCY DINING WITH A TV STAR!

Sarah’s latest project for The BBC’s “Money For Nothing” show is looking for a new home.
The dining table is finished and in the shop waiting on the last segment of the show to be filmed later this month when the Presenter, Sarah Moore is back here getting the table filmed in its finished state.
The table will then be available to go into its new home and the BBC will deliver it free anywhere in the UK.
Now this future TV star table is so much more than just a table as it can be a standard round table, it can then be extended to seat more people round it but even more unusually, it can be used at 2 standalone separate half moon tables.
If you fancy seeing this amazing piece in the flesh then pop into the shop for a look or if you want any further information then please message us.
We’ve attached a wee video for you to hopefully watch and remember, as well as this wonderful piece, we have over 150 items of upcycled furniture available for sale in our showroom right now.

Sarah is in the TV again tomorrow afternoon at 2pm on BBC1 for the latest new episode of Money For Nothing.
Featuring with Presenter/Designer, Jacqui Joseph, this is how the BBC are advertising the episode-

“New York is calling... Sarah Peterson channels Manhattan's skyline with a skyscraper-inspired new look, and Jacqui Joseph hopes buyers will shell out for upcycled seashells. IT’S BEEN A GOOD MONTH!

Wow, we can’t believe that we are into the last few days of August already.
We are pleased to report that we’ve had a good August and are hoping it might just get a bit better if we have a busy weekend.
Our showroom is packed full again of over 150 unique, one off items of furniture, our paint room is full also with recent paint and accessories delivery this week as well as lots of smaller giftable items new in this week.
We’ve attached images of some newbies and other wonders available for sale and hope we see some of you here this weekend or some time soon.
