Smoke alarm installation completed today in Camborne, bringing this rental property up to current fire safety requirements.

Using Aico smart modules and new cabling, I installed new smoke alarms throughout the property. The work was completed carefully and without causing any unnecessary damage to the property.

Two commercial jobs completed today by Elliot Electrical.

The first was an emergency lighting installation at Holland & Barrett in Penzance, followed by the installation of a new 3-phase supply for a water heater at McDonald's Penzance.

Lovely discovery during an emergency call-out on Saturday to a property with socket circuit tripping issues — these slugs had made themselves right at home and got quite a nasty surprise.

A much-needed upgrade from two separate peak and off-peak consumer units to a modern dual-tariff setup, complete with RCBOs and SPD protection for improved safety and reliability. Additional remedial works were also carried out to achieve a satisfactory EICR. First job back after my little holiday — and definitely a tough one, but I'm happy with the transformation.
