It is used by a wide cross-section of villagers, not only for worship at regular weekly services and Christmas, Easter and Remembrance services, but also as a social meeting place. Our aim is to use the church for the benefit of the whole community by offering events and activities such as concerts, recitals, art exhibitions and flower festivals, facilities for a creche, a meeting room, and many others all in addition to the weekly and festival services held throughout the year. The church will become a community asset and, for this to happen, it is necessary to bring the facilities up to the standard expected in the 21st century. For the renovation and repair work to be completed, the Project Committee will need to raise funds from the local community; individuals, households or businesses.
