So today, for a regular client, I cleared the area of weeds and big bushes, a few weeks ago, havent got a before pic, because i didnt realise her vision for the area, but rest assured from bottom gate to top it was full of triffids, weeds etc, client then finished what i had started last week, when i was ill , and she done a good job. I came in put teram down and astro turf. Very pleased with outcome.

Finally got around to finish clients drive (their spec) broke out rest of tarmac and concrete left from last visit, 2 tons of type 1 laid down and retained by side drive. Look at previous post to see the raised shingle border put in last visit, now paintes white plus another lick of white of masonry.

.Project DescriptionThis project involved the installation of a clean, level gravel border along the foundation of a brick property to improve drainage, prevent splashback, and enhance visual appeal.Preparation: Cleared out existing weeds, loose dirt, and debris along the base of the brickwork and painted plinth.Retaining Framework: Constructed a custom timber retaining border using heavy-duty 4x1 timber boards. The structure was securely fixed and reinforced using timber battens.Leveling: Precision-leveled the entire timber framework across the sloped terrain to ensure a perfectly straight, uniform top edge.Infill: Filled the newly created timber bays with premium 20mm shingle (gravel), providing a functional, low-maintenance drainage channel that protects the property's lower walls.

🏡 Another Problem Solved! 🏡
We recently tackled a tricky guttering issue where the water wasn't flowing where it should.
🔍 The Problem:
The existing wooden fascia had dropped over time. This caused the plastic fascia cover to sag, making the guttering bow and pool water instead of running cleanly to the downpipe.
🛠️ The Fix:
Stripped off the old plastic fascia covers.
Used Acrow props to jack the original structural timber back up into its correct, level position.
Securely anchored it in place using heavy-duty 4x2 timber reinforcements.
Installed fresh new fascia boards.
Re-hung the original guttering with the correct fall so water drains perfectly.
No more sagging, no more pooling water, and a structural fix that will last! 🌧️💪

Clients Driveway needed structurally improving, to enable cars to park on. Top 20mm digger graded off, arisings put right hand side of gravel board to landscape bank. Teram put down, 10 tons of type 1 spread, and compacted. Bull nose edgers concreted in to retain type one and bridge to pavement
