We are a finalist! 🥳

Some of you may have seen our post a few weeks ago about being shortlisted for New Business of the Year in the SoGlos Business Awards 2026... well... we’ve made it through to the finals!

It’s so nice to be recognised and to know that all the team’s hard work is paying off. Congratulations to the other finalists too, it’s so lovely to be alongside so many fantastic businesses in the area.

Thank you to SoGlos and the judging panel. We can’t wait for the awards night!

9 in 10 homeowners don’t want a bare battery on their wall, but from 15th October, that’s where a lot of batteries will go.

Amendment 4 makes PAS 63100 compliance mandatory for domestic batteries meaning lofts, bedrooms and other indoor spaces are non-compliant. For many homes, the outside wall is the only option… and that’s where the sales can stall.

To be clear, no cover makes a non-compliant location compliant - the regulations decide the location.

At Embrace Renewables, we help with what happens next. Research shows that 90.4% of homeowners would pay 3-5% more to have their system covered, so if you quote it as part of the package, most customers are likely to say yes.

✅ Ventilated
✅ Lockable
✅ UK-made, built to last 30 years

“I don’t want that on my wall” stops being an objection, and a tidy install on a higher-value job becomes the norm.

Installers: how are your customers reacting to outdoor batteries? Tell us in the comments, or message us to see how others are quoting covers.

Wow... what a week we had at Solar & Storage Live UK at the NEC in Birmingham! If you saw us walking around with these backpacks on (3rd photo) and are still wondering what they are — they’re a small sample of our solar battery & inverter covers... made into backpacks! 🎒😆

A massive thank you to Waxman Energy for having us on their stand — we couldn’t be happier to have been alongside such a well-known name in the industry. Thanks also to everyone who came to say hello; it was a pleasure to meet so many of our partners in person, as well as plenty of new faces.

If we spoke to you at the event and said we’d be in touch, look out for an email from us in the coming days or feel free to reach out to us directly. If you didn’t make it but want to know more about our covers, visit batterycovers.co.uk or get in touch.

Each year Solar & Storage just gets better and better... see you next year! 👀

One day to go! Tomorrow the core Embrace Renewables team heads to Solar & Storage Live UK at the NEC Birmingham.

We will be with one of our partners Waxman Energy at Hall 19, Stand A21 from Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th September, with our battery and inverter covers on display.

With Amendment 4 readily approaching, we would love to discuss how we can help you navigate the challenges this presents and show you the product up close.

Come and say hello! 👋

🇬🇧 Officially Made in Britain! 🇬🇧

We are proud to announce that Embrace Renewables is now an accredited member of Made in Britain.

Every single one of our solar battery covers is made to order in our workshop in Gloucestershire, by skilled local craftspeople who take real pride in what they build.

For us, this accreditation is about more than a logo. It’s about investing in local skills, keeping traditional craftsmanship alive and supporting jobs in our local community.

The Made in Britain mark simply makes official what we’ve been doing all along!

Another busy morning at the Embrace Renewables HQ!

The office is coordinating deliveries, the workshop is working through orders, and the forecourt is packed with covers ready to ship across the country.

When we started, we had one simple idea - that solar battery storage installations deserve a finish worth being proud of. Every cover heading out the door represents a solar investment being protected and a finished install that reflects the quality of the kit inside.

Exciting times ahead. 🚀

You spent thousands on your solar system, had it professionally installed and then… it’s outside, exposed.

We get it - protecting your system isn’t always the first thing on the list. But with our battery covers, it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Built from premium materials, ventilated and weatherproof, our covers slip over your existing install and transform it instantly. No mess, no fuss - just a finish you’ll actually love looking at everyday.

Because your solar investment deserves more than exposure.

Find yours via the link in our bio or message us for any questions or assistance with finding the right cover for you.
