Yippee, more rain☔️😀😀

After a quick look at the rain gauge and the soil to see how the rain is getting into the ground time to start on clearing the spring brassica bed.

Normally this would have been cleared by now but I got behind with clearing beds and keeping things tidy as most time has been spent watering.

Raining So Seed Catalogue time.

Well is finally raining the Forcast is for about 15mm of rain but will see how it goes.
Instead of going up the plot went through this year Kings seed catalog that we get through National Allotment Association membership when we rent our allotment from our Easington Allotment Association. Easington Allotment Association was set up in 1979 to rent our site from the council on a lease to keep costs down ensure all plots were taken.

Wednesday 26-August-2026

Was going to start clearing a Brassica bed today but decided to clean the gully by the path out today as the soil has filled it.
Then there was the inevitable watering as well which takes half the session up the plot.
