I'll be at The National Self Build & Renovation Show this Friday, 9 October, representing the Federation of Master Builders.

You'll find me in the Experts area at the NSBRC in Swindon, where I'm available for one-to-one appointments. If you're planning a renovation, extension or retrofit and want straight, jargon-free advice on finding the right builder, what to ask before you sign anything, or how to make an older home warmer and more efficient, come and have a chat.

📘 We're in a new Oxford Brookes report!

Lambert Home Builds features as a case study in From Research to Action, a new report from Oxford Brookes Business School. It looks at how local support is helping Oxfordshire businesses go greener.

Nikki completed the funded Level 3 in Domestic Retrofit Advice at Abingdon & Witney College. Since then, we've:
🏡 explained retrofit to clients in plain English, not jargon
🌿 used more natural, breathable insulation like wood fibre
♻️ reused materials wherever we can to cut waste

The report found something we hear from homeowners all the time: people want warmer, greener homes but don't know where to start or who to trust. That's why clear, honest advice comes first on every project we take on.

What a wonderful couple of days at the FMB national conference, 2 days of presentations, workshops and connecting culminating in a gala dinner at Exeter College.
The theme this year was and there were so many inspirational speakers!
Thank you to the Federation of Master Builders for organising this superb event, fantastic to meet so many incredible members and professionals in the built environment ,all so passionate to make things happen ; this is a tribute to you all!

That's a wrap at the Sandown Park Racecourse representing the Federation of Master Builders where we were in the area speaking with lots of home owners seeking advice on where to find a builder , going through plans and advice on navigating the planning process.
It was quite a surprise to see ourselves on the cover of the promotional leaflets ( signed versions available!😊) but we are proud to represent the FMB promoting quality standards
Thanks to all the team from the FMB and thank you for the ice cream, a lovely treat in this weather!
