The team have been busy at a school in Salisbury, near the New Forest, installing a fully automated vehicle and pedestrian access system.

Works included:

• Automated vehicle and pedestrian gates
• Paxton access control and video intercom systems
• Came Frog X underground automation
• Safety edges, beams, and induction loop systems
• Bow-top gates to the rear car park
• Full groundworks, ducting, and system setup

The project will provide secure, reliable, and easy-to-manage access for staff and pupils across the site.

We’re really pleased to have recently completed a project at the Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre, where we installed new automated gate systems on a live site.

We installed SR2-rated bifold and pedestrian gates while keeping the site fully open and secure throughout.

The project included removing the existing gates, putting temporary security in place, carrying out the groundworks, and coordinating crane lifts with the museum and their security team.

The new gates were also linked into the existing access control system so staff and visitors can move in and out easily.

We always aim to carry out work with as little disruption as possible, especially in schools where everything still needs to run as normal.

Some great feedback from a recent job the team completed for the installation of an automated gate system!

It was an automation upgrade after the existing system was faulty. We upgraded the existing motor to a Came 24-volt underground gate automation system with CAME Connect system (this allows them to control the gate from their phone/smart device) and Installed two pairs of safety beams between the gate posts to comply with current safety standards.
