From planting day to this... in just one season.
This planter was planted in April, and just a few months later it's already overflowing with colour, texture and movement.
One of the things I love most about well-designed planting is how quickly it can transform a space. By carefully selecting plants that complement one another in height, form, colour and flowering time, it's possible to create a display that looks full and established far sooner than many people expect.
This scheme combines evergreen structure, soft drifts of perennials, architectural grasses and a climber that will continue to develop over the coming years. While it already looks beautiful, it's only going to improve with time as the planting matures and the Trachelospermum begins to cover the trellis.
