Case Study | Aburnets | Overhead Crane

This recent project was for Aburnets in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The project was a design and install of a 3.2T Safe Working Load Overhead Crane. The crane was engineered to fit in the existing building structure at Aburnets' factory. The crane will be used for the lifting of beams and the manufacturing of hair nets.

Case Study | Garmendale Engineering | Overhead Cranes

This project was for Garmendale Engineering in Ilkeston. We installed two Overhead Cranes. One being 7.5T SWL and the other a 8.5T SWL. These cranes were engineered to fit inside existing properties with full design of the track, rails, and crane system.

We recently paid a visit to the Vistry Group in Coalville to see the cranes we have supplied, in action! We supplied one Electric Overhead Crane with two hoists, extended two existing Overhead Cranes, and re-positioned a Swing Jib Crane, all of which are used to lift timber frames, in the housing industry. 🏗️ 🏠

Harold Potter designed, drew, and manufactured the crane systems, load tested and certified the cranes to ensure compliance.

Goliath project update! 🏗️

The legs for the 30metre span, 12.5T Goliath Crane for JRL Trent Precast at Skelmersdale have left our workshop! The work on the main beam is nearing completion and will soon follow, ready for installation!

We've completed a wide range of crane projects over the last few years, and we're looking forward to showcasing what we've delivered to clients. We'll be sharing our work across our socials channels. Including both recent projects and others from previous years. 🏗️

This project was for our great friends at FP McCann at their Littleport depot.

We did 2 different installations at this site.

The first being 2x25T SWL Overhead Travelling Cranes. The cranes were installed with safety functions such as anti collision sensors, and slow down limits, to prevent any collision with either crane or end stop.

We also installed a further 10×25T Gurulp Overhead Travelling Cranes.

The cranes will be used for the production of concrete slabs for use in pre built housing. As well as various other concrete applications.
