I wanted to share this clip from the porch tiling job I’m doing in Gamston, as it’s just so satisfying watching the charcoal grout flowing into the gaps…Get in touch if your front porch could do with a refresh.

A picture speaks a thousand words…

I laid the new (Period Minton style) porch tiles for this customer last year, then returned this month to complete a full Bay Restorations job on the front of the house. Repairing rotten timber window frames. Restoring sandstone mullions. Removing old paint and unwanted cables and clips from the brickwork. Repainting the entire stonework…I’ll post more details on that soon.

Whilst the outside painting season is coming to an end now, I am still doing porch tiling projects. If you need help improving your home, get in touch. Many thanks. Matt - MJ Works & Bay Restorations

…and here’s what the happy customer had to say:

We were recommended Matt by our neighbour after seeing the excellent work he had completed on their property.

We wanted to transform an unused tarmac area at the side of our home into a relaxing courtyard, and the end result has completely exceeded our expectations.

The quality of workmanship is exceptional, and his advice and design input throughout the project were invaluable.

From start to finish, Matt was professional, reliable, and clearly takes great pride in his work. As mentioned, the finished space is even better than we had imagined, and we can't thank Matt enough for creating such a beautiful area for us to enjoy.

We look forward to welcoming Matt back for future projects, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Fraser & Lyndsay, West Bridgford
