🌷🌿🌼 SPRING LOCAL MAKERS MARKET - FORUM NORWICH 🌼🌿🌷
I ventured to Norwich on Saturday to host the table version of my shop / stall at the spring market!
The is such a fantastic venue as the car park is directly underneath the space which meant that I could comfortably travel, set up and take down the stall on my own without help from loved ones, as usually, my support network is crucial to setting up, taking down, parking and gazebo assembling - however on this occasion I was proud to be able to do this market on my tod without assistance - thank goodness for lifts and trolleys!
I saw lots of familiar faces, and as always it was great to catch up with such incredible makers such as the wonderful
I think it’s so important to talk to and make pals with other creatives. We are in our own lanes with our unique small businesses and yet we are all on the quest to achieving our wildest dreams… which can be both a financial and mental rollercoaster at times. Therefore, it is a real treat to catch up, share knowledge of markets, useful tips and to encourage each other to continue creating moments of “Wow, I’m on the road to the career I’ve dreamt of all of my life” and to celebrate with each other along the way.
I had some lovely comments on Saturday; some even made me tear up! Especially when I showed my Activity Packs to a lovely lady (she was a crafter in her 70’s) who said, “Clever girl… Trust me, you’re just getting started…” it was said with so much kindness and authenticity from a complete stranger and reminded me of that scene in Jurassic Park with that similar line. 🦖
Thank you, Local Makers Market, for another corker of a day! ✨
