The Chimney Sweep of Cheshire -

Today we’re over in Romiley, Marple, Woodley & Bredbury doing sweeps and quotes.

This one was booked in for its annual sweep and a service due to the rope seals falling out and the handle being loose.

The stove and flue was swept, polished, cleaned, smoke tested, certified and serviced and is now ready to burn for the winter months ahead.

Sweeping a lined Clock Blithfield 5 in Antrobus this morning.

This customer has 2 clocks and we sweep them both annually. As a farm house with a tree surgeon neighbour these stoves get well used.

The full works as usual on all my sweeps. (sweeps, polish, clean, smoke test, certificate on completion)

The importance of having your chimney swept by a professional is not only the sweep being clean and tidy but the information you receive.

We noted the wood being stacked beside the stove is unacceptable due to minimum distance to combustibles not being met. The customer was unaware the of this and was happy to deal with this and has moved it to a basket once the sweep was completed.

Another lined sweep completed this time no back to black stove polish due to this beautiful clearview stove being finished in a green colour so just a wipe down and glass clean for this one. Swept, smoke tested, certified.

Customer and neighbour confirmed for annual sweep bookings.
