One of the customers asked me the other night when the grass-cutting season usually ends. 🌱

It normally finishes around Halloween 🎃, or slightly later depending on the weather. 🌦️ The last few seasons, with the weather being so mild, we’ve actually still been cutting grass into January! 🍂✂️

Brand New Tool Arrival! 🌱

A brand-new Cooper Pegler CP15 Evolution Knapsack Sprayer has arrived!

Our old sprayer recently got damaged when my son accidentally stood on the lance. I initially purchased a replacement lance, but decided to treat myself to a brand-new sprayer as well.

Cooper Pegler sprayers really are the Rolls-Royce of knapsack sprayers — quality, reliable and built to last. Looking forward to putting this one to work! 💪🌿

Here are some before-and-after photos from a grass cut we completed this evening for a new customer in the Ben Eadan Wood development, just off the Antrim Road.

This customer is the brother of one of our long-term grass cutting customers, whose lawn we’ve been maintaining for a number of years. They asked if we could help get their brother’s new garden looking its best, and we were delighted to help.

This property has seven separate lawn areas. We carefully strimmed the perimeter of each lawn, including around all shrub beds and circular planting areas. Each lawn was then double cut to achieve a clean, even finish before we finished the job by blowing away all grass clippings from the borders and pavement.🌱✂️

Today I strimmed a garden for the neighbour of one of my regular grass-cutting customers.

The new customer was looking to get their grass cut, as they hadn’t been able to keep on top of it and it had become overgrown. After giving it a thorough strim, it’s now back under control and will be much easier for them to maintain going forward.

This new Felco pruning saw arrived today.

I’ve wanted this saw for a long time, so I’m really pleased to finally add it to the kit. I already have two smaller foldable Felco 600 pruning saws, which have been brilliant, so I’m looking forward to putting this one to work.

I always try to reinvest back into the business by investing in quality tools. It’s all part of providing the best service I can and continuing to move the business forward.

These new Felco Loppers arrived today.

I’ve wanted a set of Felcos for years. Their reputation for quality, durability and cutting performance is second to none, so it’s great to finally add them to the toolkit.

My old loppers haven’t gone to waste either. I recently passed them on to a local gardener who is just starting up this season. Starting a business isn’t easy, and if a simple gesture can help someone get going, then it’s well worth doing.

Looking forward to putting these Felcos to work and seeing what all the fuss is about! 🌳✂️
