✅ Stay Safe, Stay Checked

Electrical safety is something many people only think about when there’s a problem.

Regular checks help:
✔ Keep your home safe
✔ Reduce risk of faults
✔ Highlight issues early

It’s always better to be proactive than reactive 👍

🔍 Electrical Safety Isn’t Always Visible

Most of your electrical system is hidden behind walls and ceilings…
So how do you know it’s safe?

That’s where testing comes in.

📋 An EICR helps uncover hidden faults before they turn into serious hazards.

🏡 Homeowners — Don’t Forget About Your Electrics

It’s easy to overlook your electrics because you can’t see them.

But over time, wiring and components can degrade — especially in older homes.

📋 An EICR acts like a “health check” for your property

Giving you peace of mind that everything is safe and working as it should ✅

🔥 Electrical Fires Are Preventable

Most electrical issues don’t happen overnight — they build up over time.

Wear and tear, outdated systems, or poor installations can all increase risk.

✅ Regular inspections help catch problems early
✅ Safer electrics = safer home

A small check now could prevent a major issue later 👌

⚠️ Signs Your Electrics Might Need Checking

Keep an eye out for these warning signs:
🔥 Burning smells
⚡ Flickering lights
🔌 Sockets not working properly
🔋 Tripping electrics

These can all indicate underlying issues.

Don’t ignore the signs — getting things checked early can prevent bigger problems later.

🏠 Landlords – Are You Covered?

Electrical safety isn’t just important — it’s a legal responsibility.

Landlords must ensure their electrics are tested regularly to keep tenants safe.

📄 A valid EICR helps confirm your property meets current standards and highlights any issues needing attention.

If yours is due or expired, it’s something worth getting sorted ✅
