Another heating system upgraded!

This customer wanted to replace their old vented system boiler with a modern Baxi 830 combi boiler, freeing up space and improving efficiency.

To make life easier, we also installed an accessible filling loop on the second floor, meaning there’s no need to climb into the loft every time the system pressure needs topping up.

As part of the installation we:
✅ Removed the old system boiler and tanks
✅ Installed a new Baxi 830 combi boiler
✅ Added inhibitor to protect the heating system
✅ Commissioned and tested everything to ensure it was running exactly as it should

The result is a cleaner, more efficient heating system with improved hot water performance and a much tidier loft space.

Boiler repair & service completed today 👨‍🔧🔥

Customer reported the boiler repeatedly going into ignition lockout. After diagnosing the fault, the issue was traced back to damaged and heavily corroded electrodes, along with a bent flame rectification probe affecting flame detection.

✔️ Replaced ignition electrodes
✔️ Replaced damaged flame rectification probe
✔️ Removed and cleaned carbon/sludge build-up from the condensate trap
✔️ Full service and combustion checks completed

Boiler now firing correctly and running as it should again ✅
