The finishing touch 👌

We fitted this sleek anthracite grey composite door a few days ago, and today the matching roller garage door has completed the transformation.

This installation comes with a bit of a back story… and Donna, if you’re reading this, we still love you 😂❤️

Donna originally had a flat white window, but when we first quoted the job she wanted to completely change the front of the house and create a bay window.

Her original white quotation included the full flat-to-bay conversion.

Then she decided on Agate Grey 😍 and, because of the colour uplift, asked us to rework the price and see where we could help.

So we did.

The revised Agate Grey quotation kept the front window flat to bring the overall cost down.

Donna accepted the quote. ✅
We sent the survey over before ordering. ✅
Donna replied: “That’s great.” 😂✅

So off we went, completely unaware of what was waiting for us on installation day.

We arrived with the flat Agate Grey window…

Donna: “Where’s my bay?”
Us: 😳
Donna: 😭
Her husband: “Well… it’s your own fault” 🙈

At this point Donna’s heartbroken, her husband is firmly on Team Read The Quote, and the entire Window Warriors team is wandering around site scratching our heads thinking:

HOW ARE WE GOING TO PULL A BAY WINDOW OUT OF THIN AIR?! 😂

Because technically… everything was right.

The quote was right.
The survey was right.
The order was right.
Donna just hadn’t noticed one fairly important detail. 😂

We could have quite easily said, “Sorry Donna, this is what was agreed.”

But…

There was absolutely no chance we were walking away and leaving her unhappy.

So the emergency bay mission began.

Phones out. Measurements everywhere. Extra frames sourced. Everyone scratching their heads trying to work out how we could turn the window already manufactured into the bay Donna had originally wanted.

And somehow…

WE BLOODY DID IT. 👏🏼

Her husband is a roofer, so with the final roof work now completed, we finally got to see the whole transformation finished.

And we have to admit, Donna…

you were right about the bay. 🔥❤️

Agate Grey, complete flat-to-bay transformation and one very relieved Window Warriors team.

Was it technically our problem? No. 😂
Did Donna’s husband remind her of that? Repeatedly. 😂
Were we ever going to leave her upset over a window? Absolutely not.

Because that’s exactly what we mean when we say:

P.S. This job is getting milked for content for at least a week. 😂😂😂
