WE ARE HIRING!

This is a full-time, on-site role based across the Midlands for a Construction Site Labourer/Driver. The role involves assisting with day-to-day construction activities, including general site labouring. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, transporting materials, and providing general support to the construction team as needed. The labourer/driver will also handle deliveries, ensuring timely transportation of materials and equipment to project sites.

Qualifications

Practical experience on construction sites - CSCS card preferred, but can be provided
Valid driver's licence and experienced in driving larger van types. Applicants must be 21+ to comply with our insurance
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction site safety standards
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift heavy materials
Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage

Role Description

These are full-time, on-site roles for a Construction Site Foreman located in the East and West Midlands. The Construction Site Forman will oversee daily site operations, manage teams of employees and sub-contractors, health and safety, as well as being 'on the tools' when required. The role requires fast thinking, problem solving and the highest standards of client care. This is a multi-skilled role that is dynamic - every day will be different.

This could be an ideal step towards becoming a Site Manager; you will be managing projects up to £750,000.

Salary c£40,000, plus pension and Employee Assistance package.

Qualifications

Proven experience within a range of different construction fields - ideally including commercial, industrial and residential.
Strong people skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices
A qualification and experience within a construction trade.
A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the East and West Midlands
Must have a permit to work within the UK

The role requires fast thinking, problem solving and the highest standards of client care.

Qualifications
Proven experience in Site Management and Construction Site Management
Strong skills in Planning, Cost Control, and Budgeting
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices
Proficiency in project management tools and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the East and West Midlands
Relevant professional certifications or a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field will be considered an advantage, but not essential

Recently completed project at Trinity Methodist Church in Loughborough.
The project saw the creation of offices and store rooms, along with a community space/meeting room, accessible toilet and a new kitchen.
