Bespoke Boot Room | Buckingham , Buckinghamshire

A recent bespoke joinery project, transforming this entranceway into a practical and welcoming space.

Designed to maximise storage, this made-to-measure boot room incorporates dedicated space for coats, shoes and bags, while cleverly concealing the property’s electrical consumer unit.

One of our favourite details is the colour choice. The cabinetry was colour-matched to a brick tile from the fireplace in the property’s living room, creating a subtle connection between the two spaces.

A combination of thoughtful design, practical storage and bespoke craftsmanship, making the most of every available inch.

Solid Oak Floating Steps | Kings Langley

A recent project completed for a new-build property in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

We supplied and fitted bespoke solid oak floating steps, incorporating an 18mm oak-veneered backing board and solid oak nosing to the landing section.

The oak was finished with two coats of Osmo oil to enhance the natural grain and provide a durable finish.

A simple, contemporary design that brings warmth and character to the space.

Bespoke Oak Wardrobes | Taplow

A recent bespoke joinery project, designed to complement the character of this beautiful home.

Crafted in our workshop and carefully fitted on site, these made-to-measure wardrobes feature oak-veneered units with solid oak frames and door sections incorporating oak-veneered panels.

The cornice and skirting boards were also crafted from solid oak, with the entire installation finished in two coats of Osmo oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the timber.

Traditional craftsmanship, natural materials and thoughtful detailing, creating storage that feels right at home in its surroundings.

Bespoke timber windows for a listed property in Bledlow, Buckinghamshire 🪟

Four new flush casement windows, handcrafted to replace the existing windows while retaining the traditional appearance and proportions of this beautiful listed property.

Because of the building’s heritage, the new windows needed to remain sympathetic to the originals — but that didn’t mean the homeowner had to miss out on modern performance.

We made each window from Accoya timber and incorporated heritage-approved Slimlite double glazing, providing the benefits of double glazing while maintaining the slim, traditional appearance required for the property.

The windows were supplied pre-primed using Sikkens exterior joinery paint, ready for their final finish.

A lovely example of how traditional joinery and modern materials can work together without compromising the character of an older building.

Busy (and very warm!) week in the workshop as we crack on with a set of bespoke wardrobes and drawers to match the existing office furniture.

The wardrobes will have internal LED lighting, and the drawer unit is being sunk into the eaves space to maximise storage. We’re also building large dovetailed oak drawer boxes on 750mm runners — solid, smooth and built to last.

A special mention to the lovely young man from thekingsbrook_school who joined us for work experience this week. He’s been an absolute pleasure to have in the workshop—keen, polite, hardworking, and a credit to his school.
